Biography

Paul Forrest as “Mick Jagger”

Paul Forrest is a multi-instrumentalist and vocalist with experience in rock, folk, classical, new age and other forms of music. Born and raised in South East London, he moved to Sussex to study psychology at the University there in 1991.

Whilst appearing in numerous folk and rock bands playing guitar, mandolin, bass and flute, it was his role as lead singer, flautist and acoustic guitarist for the UK’s premier Jethro Tull tribute band, The Dayglo Pirates which has brought him international acclaim. The band has performed with original members including Clive Bunker, Barrie Barlow, David (now Dee)  Palmer, Glen Cornick and Dave Pegg. He has appeared on radio and on stage with lead singer Ian Anderson and Jethro Tull at their Bournemouth Pavilion show on 16th April 2008.

He moved to Tacoma in 2015 and started a Beatles tribute called The Fab Three taking the roles of John Lennon and George Harrison both on guitar and vocals. Not long after, he joined Seattle based band The Jethro Tull Experience as their Ian Anderson. Recently, he joined Gimme Shelter as Mick Jagger.
